Description: Carasau is by far the best-known Sardinian bread. Doughs are rolled in rounded sheets and cooked in wooden oven at very high temperatu (450°-500°), until they puffed up like balls and then divided in singular thin sheets that are further cooked until they acquire their unique crispiness and golden color. This rounded bread is normally sold in vacuum packages of 250 grams.
Directions for use: Replaces classic bread, it combines with lightness with each food. Ideal with starters, first courses cheese and salamis. Perfect with vegetables and fishes soups.
